MA1000M Transmitter Legend

1. Power Indicator

The POWER LED is illuminated green when the unit is turned on and not lit when the unit is off.

2. Optical Status Indicator

The OPTICAL LED is illuminated green when the transmitter emits light and red when not.

3. V Sync Status Indicator

If the V SYNC LED on the transmitter is green it indicates a vertical sync signal is present at the VGA IN connector. Red indicates no signal.

4. H/C Sync Status Indicator

If the H SYNC LED on the transmitter is green it indicates a horizontal or a composite sync signal is present at the VGA IN connector. Red indicates no signal.

5. Power Entry

AC power inlet, on/off switch and fuse holder. The line voltage is selectable 115VAC 60Hz or 230VAC 50Hz.

6. VGA In & VGA Loop Out

The VGA IN is a VGA input connector (HD-15 D-sub). It also serves as a general purpose video input for other formats. MA1000 works with several formats that can be viewed in the Video section of our Specifications. VGA LOOP OUT connector is a buffered loop through output.

7. Fiber Connectors

FIBER OUT R G B. ST type fiber connectors for R,G and B optical output signals. They send video over a mile via a 3 strand multimode fiber cable (62.5/125um or 50/125 um).

8. Six Position DIP Switch

Selects the video format. It enables you to configure the transmitter to fit your specific application.

 
     
 
 
 

MA1000M Receiver Legend

1. Power Indicator

The POWER LED is illuminated green when the unit is turned on and not lit when the unit is off.

2. Optical Status Indicator

The OPTICAL LED is illuminated red when there is no optical signal input to the receiver or it is too low. If the optical input is sufficient the LED turns green.

3. V Sync Status Indicator

If the V SYNC LED on the receiver is green it indicates a positive polarity, if red a negative polarity vertical sync signal output.

4. H/C Sync Status Indicator

If the H SYNC LED on the receiver is green it indicates a positive polarity, if red a negative polarity horizontal or composite sync signal output.

8. Eight Position DIP Switch
